GT 2560 is reseted?

Post by nikschee » Tue Jan 10, 2017 3:13 am

Hello,
I bought a Geeetech Prusa i3 single extruder 3d Printer with the GT 2560 board. After I have finished the the buildup I started the printer and on the LCD-panel appears the menu. But after I connected the printer with my PC, I wasn´t able to select any menu item. After restarting the 3d printer there was nothing on the LCD-panel. Is there any possibility to get the origin program, wich was on the GT 2560.
Thank you.

Hi,
Generally speaking,it's normal you can't select the menu at the moment you connect it to computer, just wait and give it some time(maybe 30 secs).
Then you can control it.
And here you can find the original firmware for your printer:

BTW,could you select the menu after you unplugged USB cable?

Hi,
The LCD still will work without connecting to PC if you have switched on the power, unless your PSU was broken.
