I think you can refer to this post to exchage the pins of Z_max and Z_min in the firmware, then plug the original Z endstop to Z_max slot to check if this slot on the board is OK.

What do you think of it?

I moved the limit switch that I previously had connected from Z_min connector to the Z_max connector and swapped the pin assignment in firmware,
I then sent the home command to the printer and as soon as the switch was pressed the the unit stopped moving (All good normal behavior). This was good verification that its not the main board but everything keeps pointing back to the sensor being faulty.

Hallo everybody,
i couldnt make my sensor to work so i tried a different connection. I connected red and brown cables (5V and ground) as Geeetech manual suggest, but i connected the signal orange cable to R22 as the link shows

I did not make any change to pins.h. I left pin13 to servo.
Everything is working now!

It's working! 3D touch is working! It prints well and I can see it make Z axis corrections while it is printing a single layer.

But, after it probes 6 bed points it stops displaying x, y and z, coordinates on my LCD screen. Temperature of Nozzle and Bed are shown. As is fan speed. Feed rate and progress bar are displayed correctly with time of print, too. BTW The script command 'G29 P3' measures 9 bed points. The command 'G29 P2' measures 4 bed points.

I have pored over the Marlin software to try to learn where it goes wrong. Any ideas?
Attached my configuration.h and pins.h files.

LCD blank for X,y and z
When I level the bed with 'G29 P2' in the script the LCD doesn't go blank for x,y and z.

It just blanks out when I use 'G29 P3'. Why?

Another note:
I must raise the Z stepper motor driver voltage because the Z steppers get out of synch pretty often now I am using ABL. I have calibration marks on the couplers that confirm this.
