Hello after mounting my i3 Pro B , i have a problem with the Z axis
Move is really noisy, and seem hard for the stepper motors (even if it moves as commanded by Repetier Host)
Is there a need to grease or lube the Z axis nut and threaten rod?
And for the linear bearings and smooth rod?
Regards
Noisy Z axis

Hi,
Here's a post about the z axis issues, please check it, see if it's helpful to you:

1.You need to make sure the hole at the top is not so tight for thread rod.
The rod is installed well in the coupling.
The rod itself is all not bent without any broken threads.
2.You can swap the driver on Z axis with the one of one working motor, and check if the motor wiring has a good connection:

3.The driver has a problem

Re: Noisy Z axis
Thanks for answering
I will check the links provided but I think a misunderstanding :
It works it is just noisy and seem to be hard for the motor
I will try to make a video tonight.

Re: Noisy Z axis
The X axis makes noise too , coming from the linear bearings
For Z axis the noise is mainly from the screw.
