Hii i have M201 3d printer
recently my prints started to miss steps on the Y axis
I tried to strech the belts more and it didn't help much
I tried to put some machine oil on the bearings of the Y axis , i still missing steps but less
I read online that incrising the voltage on the stepper motor migth help but i have no idea how to do this
and i also read that some people use an external controller to add a close loop control on the stepper motors, if any one have some experiance with this i would love to hear about it.
any advice how to solve this problem?
Missing steps
Re: Missing steps
Hi,
1.Adjust the driver voltage,refer to 1.4 of this(the potentiometer is the screw):

2.If your know the steps Y missed exactly,you can modify the step/mm of Y motor on LCD controller,follow the order:
Control->Motion->Ysteps/mm
