Hi guys i'm having some iusse with my new I3 pro B and i hope to find solution here!
When i click on the home button of the x axis the extruder moves towards the endstop but when it reach the end the motor doesn't stop but it keep on pulling and making a loud noise for a long period before stopping, it's quite the problem since i think it would break with time... I tried changing the endstop, the wire and setting the maximum instead the minimun but nothing changed, i fear it's a problem of the arduino Any help??
Another thinkg it's that when i press multiple times the homing the home for the X moves on the opposite direction by some millimeters for each click setting there the new home and never going back.
I'm having quite the hard time.
Problem with x axis homing
Re: Problem with x axis homing
Hi,
1.Was your Y endstop or Z endstop normal? If it was,you can plug one of them on the X_min(not X_max) socket to check if your X endstop was broken.
2.Check the status of endstops after you home all your axis by referring this:

3.Check if there is a problem on the back of your board like the following pic shows:

Re: Problem with x axis homing
Hi William, thanks for the reply.
1)Yes, i tried changing it with the y axis endstop and this one that i placed in the x min socket didn't work.
2)The topic referred to the G2/g2s, i have a i3 proB does it work the same way?
3)From behind the board seems ok...

1.Maybe your X_min socket was broken? You can try modifying the firmware to exchange the X_min pin and the X_max pin, refer to this post:

2.I attach G2s just want you to check the endstop status by the G-code "M119".

Re: Problem with x axis homing
If it's really broken then i'll have to contact the seller and have them send me some new parts...warranty is still on.
I'll try again this evening, thanks for now.
