Changing Y axis to Extruder 2

Post by TheSilentBoy » Fri Aug 19, 2016 7:57 pm

Hi, my y-axis stopped moving and it doesn't receive power but when I put it on the x-axis port it moves and receives power. So is there a way to move my y-axis pins to my extruder 2 pins?
If you know how to change it, can you please tell me or change the firmware that I have included in this.

Hi, I connected my A4988 the right way where the middle circular thing facing downwards. I swapped the step driver all around and they still work but the y-axis still doesn't move. The jumpers are all connected.

Hi,
So it is,maybe the Y-motor port has a problem
Which board are you using now or what model is your printer?
1.If it is GTM32,it is not open source...I'm afraid you can't do that.
2.If it is GT2560,,you can modify the codes in the "pins.h" in the firmware. And the board is open source, sorry to tell you that you only can modify it by yourself:
