aluminium prusa i3

hi all very new to this game just wondering if anyone in adelaide south australia has built one having lots of issues eg
z axis wont stop when hits end stop
y axis going wrong way
auto home doesnt work
repetier host not working with computer can connect but nothing happens
firmware not working
how to calibrate the printer??
any help would be great does my sends me crazy at times trying to get this thing working

Hi Andy, haven't you got a user manual? I think you can get answers for most of the problems from it.
1.z axis wont stop when hits end stop: Check your wiring, see if your endstop is connected well, notice that you should connect it the the min socket not max socket.
2.y axis going wrong way: You need to change the motor direction in firmware, refer to the post:

3.auto home doesnt work: Check your endstop also.
4.repetier host not working with computer can connect but nothing happens: Have you installed the right driver? Have you chosen the right com port and baut rate?
5.firmware not working: Please refer to the post to install the firmware:

6.how to calibrate the printer: You can find the instructions in the user manual:

hi thanks for your reply appreciate it,yes i do have the user manual but sometimes i confuse myself !! whilst building my printer
