Geeetech prusa i3 pro x, problem endstop x axis
Geeetech prusa i3 pro x, problem endstop x axis
Good evening, I bought this printer a month ago, but I have a problem with the x-axis, the endstop is not detected by the printer, even with the m119 command, it is always open. I tried to replace the endstop with a new one, but no result, the engine slams contro..do you have ideas ?? cables work, I tested with the multimeter, the connections are good and the other axes work perfectly. i have a gt2560+ a4988 board and 1 mk8 extruder.

1.Did the X axis endstop work normally before?
2.Have you tried manually trigger the X axis endstop?
3.Maybe the X_min port on the board has a problem,you can plug the X axis endstop connector into Y_min while Y_min plug into X_min to see how it goes.
Regards

Re: Geeetech prusa i3 pro x, problem endstop x axis
1.The endstop of the x axis has never worked;
2. I tried to manually trigger the X axis endstop, but on m119 command is always open. (using repetier host)
i have tried to download marlin firmware and reinstall it, but the problem it's the same. after i tried to reverse the logic of x axis endstop, but nothing!!
3. if i plug the X axis endstop connector into Y_min and Y_min plug into X_min , the y axis crash on the endstop and the belt slips, the same on x axis.
I think that the X_min port is not working...

I don't think the X_min port isn't working,as you see,the motor moves when you give it a command "home",though the movement is wrong.If the X_min port was bad,it would have no response when you "home".Am i right?
So,i think it's the endstop itself caused this.You can exchange the X endstop component with Y axis's or Z axis,cuz you said the two axes's endstop work perfectly.

Re: Geeetech prusa i3 pro x, problem endstop x axis
ok I replaced the endstop with the z axis,the z-axis works well, but the x-axis crashes into the new endstop. I tried a new test,
I unplugged all the endstop plug: when i give a command "home" the y and z axis only move away from the endstop for 2 centimeter only, while x axis moves until it comes against the endstop and belt continues to slip...
ah thanks for your help!!
