Problems with M201 extruder hot head

Post by lior@motiontech.co.il » Fri Jul 15, 2016 8:34 pm

hii , im trying to print my first prints with the M201 and after couple of tries i noticed that the filament for extruder 0 isn't coming out , after trying everything i decided to take a apart the hot head and i found that a peace of PLA was broken and stuck at the feeding tube .

now i rebuilt every thing and plastic is still isn't coming out

so i need help figuring out what can be the problem

i found that the two extruders are working fine because its feed the filament until its get to the hot head
i think i may be reassembled the hot head wrong can you guide me to instructions about how the hot head should be assembled

Hi,
Did you refer to the manual of M201?
And did the hotend reach the preset temp? What is the value of the preset temp of the hotend?

I chacked the temp at the hot head with a termocouple and its fine

The building and the setting started manuals dont refer tothe hot head because its coming as a complete unit .

If there is other manual i will be happy if you send me a
link

Hi,
Since it has reached the preset temp,i don't think it is the hot head's assembling problem.I'm afraid your hot head was clogged...Double check it

Hi,
Have you clear out all the clog??After cleaning all of that, you should plug the PTFE tube into the bottom of barrel, remember to plug hard.

I´m having the same problem with my m201, haven´t been able to print for the first time, printing comes out in a drop - by - drop manner and obviously it can´t conform a single object. Have tried all found in this forum: cleaning the hotend thoroughly, unscrewing each tube (loosening the 4 screws in the back of cooler) several times and cleaning while hot. Adjusting the potentiometer to up to 1,2 V, done that. It might be that the filament doesn´t go trough the hole at the end of each tube, or it does, but it soon gets clogged and unscrew and clean all over again, I have tried at least a dozen times at no expense and the filament keeps getting wasted.. :( .
Still waiting for some support for this issue..
