Hi, I've a Prusa I3 Pro X
Since I've it (1 month) I've printed a few small things (9x3cm), today I've tried to print something bigger (10x12cm) and I'm having some problems
After some seconds print, the extruder begins to click, the weird thing is it only happens when the printer is printing, if I move the extruder manually from the LCD, it works without problem. (not click)
I already read this topic: http://www.geeetech.com/forum/viewtopic ... 19&t=17097 I'm using PLA and I've setted the temperature up to 200°, If I manually feed the filament with my hand, it extrude smoothly so I guess the nozzle is not clogged. I have checked the voltage in the driver as is recommended in the same topic, it's 0.81v so it is fine too, I've also tried with the screw but none of this has solved the problem
What else could I do to solve this problem?
Prusa I3X extruder not feed when is printing
Re: Prusa I3X extruder not feed when is printing
is your bed level? I mean might it be bended somewhere so the nozzle might be too close to the bed and filament will not come out freely?
Re: Prusa I3X extruder not feed when is printing
Sorry for the delay, as you said mark the problem was the nozzle too close.
After testing and testing I realised when the nozzle is too close and when is too away.
I'll attach some pictures when the nozzle is too away, and will update (soon)other when is too close
