@stado65
How did you get OctoPi working with the M201? Every time I try to print, I get the status going from Operational to Cannot print immediately... I've never seen my M201 even start to print unless I am using Repetier Host to drive the printer

Re: Layer shifting - help!
Nothing special regarding Octopi. I tried and it worked. Just added a line in config.yaml for the buffer value (127 by default) but it worked without that line.
It always complains about wrong line numbers and the prints always stop a few seconds before the end. I also have to reset the GTM32 before each print then reconnect Octopi.
I think all this is due to communications pb with the firmware.
Finally Octopi cannot read/write the SD card...

@stado65 I can't get beyond the "Operational" prompt in OctoPi, no matter what I do... If you have a set of configuration values I could have a copy of (and a set of what steps you use to get it to work), it'd be greatly appreciated!
Good news, though - I'm printing the last part for my MPCNC tonight! (Or at least, the last of the "generic" parts - I'll still need to print some tool adapters for the 52mm spindle and the E3Dv6 hotend that I will be using on it). Got everything apart from a 12V PSU now - going to use a 500W ATX supply for the unit (had to order another ceramic cartridge for the E3Dv6 though - originally bought it for my M201, and got a 24V version)
I'm also working on a set of replacement XZ-carriage parts for the M201 - going to base them off Enif's split X-ends (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:514582) but modified to have mounting holes for the X endstop and also a second "vertical tube" to act as a Z-axis anti-backlash nut trap (basically, it'll contain 2 nuts with a compression spring between them to remove/reduce the backlash I see on all printed parts at the moment)... May as well make the M201 print as well as it possibly can...
Anyone know whether a (genuine) E3Dv6 will work without modification on the M201? Obviously I'll have to disable OFP and tell Repetier that I only have 1 extruder, etc - I'm more concerned about whether the thermistor will work OK...

Hi neilcoggins,
I am not at home now but I will have a look at my configuration for octopi and I tell you.
Attached is a screenshot of the Octopi html page (accessed from the internet) while printing parts of my future MPCNC
