My son and I just built our Prusa I3 Pro X and found that the Y axis is running in reverse. While we have seen recommendations to remove tabs from the connector and flip it 180deg, we would like to solve the problem with firmware.
We changed the INVERT_Y_DIR setting to get the Y-axis moving in the right direction, but the printer tries to home to the min setting and the limit switch is now at the max. We changed Y_HOME_DIR to be 1 (it was -1), but this breaks homing. Clicking Home in Repetier does nothing.
Are there other firmware setting we need to change to make this work? We started with the firmware linked in http://www.geeetech.com/forum/viewtopic ... 10&t=17046
Thanks for your help.
How to check firmware to fix Y-axis in reverse problem?
Re: How to check firmware to fix Y-axis in reverse problem?
you're wrong, the home directions for the I3 series are MIN=-1, so don't need to change this value. You need to check the printer settings, did you set MIN here:
