X-Axis Homing Away from End Stop

Post by enayet123 » Sun Dec 06, 2015 1:06 am

I've just build the Geeetech i3 Dual Extruder printer. This is my first 3D printer that took me nearly a whole day to assemble however after powering it on and telling the printer to Home the X-Axis moved away from my End Stop and would keep moving until the belt would slip against the motor.

How would I fix this?

Another issue is that my X-Axis isn't physically able to press the End Stop even after I manually pushed it towards the End Stop. I have an image attached showed the closest it can get to the X-Axis.

" the X-Axis moved away from my End Stop"
the X axis direction is wrong, you need to change it in the firmware:

“Another issue is that my X-Axis isn't physically able to press the End Stop even after I manually pushed it towards the End Stop”
As for this, is there something that blocked it or wrongly assembled?

I just flipped the wires around and it fixed the homing issue however the X-Axis can't reach the end stop because the Extruder holder is actually longer than the X carriage

there's a hole in the X carriage trigger, in the corner. maybe you can add a stick or something to extend the trigger.
