G2s Pro Auto Leveling problem

Post by Alee » Sat Nov 07, 2015 1:28 am

Hi,

Please help with the following issue. I followed the exact instruction on Geeetech wiki to setup auto leveling, the below video shows what happens when I send the G29 command.

Please note that in the first second of the video, you can see the uploaded Arduino configuration.

Also please advise where can I download the slic3r configuration for first single excruder configuration (although I have a dual excruder, I want to start with one as described by wiki).

Dear Mark,

After following all steps I got my reading accurate after auto leveling (X0 Y0 Z0.02), I believe X0.02 shouldn't be an issue.

My question is after doing that, do I need to save anything ? should I auto level then lift the probe before each print?

After auto leveling and lifting the probe I home the printer then slice my file and start printing. I noticed that the hot end is quit far from the bed when it starts printing resulting in very bad first layers...

Can you also please advise link to download G2.ini (configuration for Slic3r) file?

As far as I know, you needn't to do anything, the offsets will be stored automatically. and just lift the probe, remember to delete the G29 from the slic3r, other wise you'll get issues when you start to print. The g29 is only used for autoleveling, can not be added to the gcodes when printing.

And I'll attach a config.h file for G2 here, see if it will help you:
