Y Axis Problem

Post by 3DPO » Wed May 06, 2015 1:41 am

all items are stretched on the Y axis. Please see video where I try to print a cube.

There are 2 reasons may cause this problem:
1. All the axes are not auto home before printing, so the printer can not recognize the correct position. You should let all the axes auto home before printing.
2. The model you are printing is too big on y axis, please confirm the size of cube is less than 200*200*180mm.

I always do auto home before printing. I still have this problem. What can it be?

Is the printed model is longer than it should be on y direction?

the cube is 4x4 cm but prints out approximately 4x20cm. the model is stretched on the Y-axis. I have the same problem when trying to print other models.

There are 2 reasons may cause this problem:
1. 3 jumper caps are not plugged under y motor driver.
2. Print size on y direction is amplified for 5 times in Repetier.
Please check.
