Some problems on connecting the wires to shanguilolu

Post by Rahe01 » Sun Apr 19, 2015 1:40 pm

Hey!

I just finished assemblying my prusa i3. So i connected all the wires to that shanguilolu. I cant find a place for extruder 4 pin plug. i connected the extruder fan and + - and i have 1 more wire to plug. https://scontent-ams.xx.fbcdn.net/hphot ... e=55D758F2
below the plug that im holding is only the lcd+sd card slot. so there is no place to plug it.

Other problem is my x and y axises move only one way. and when i try to move z axises then only one side spins and goes down and the other doesnt do anything. i connected one z axis pug to z and the other to E axis slot. maybe i should somehow cut the plug and connect these two z axises together?
Also i am using macbook pro. is there any printer software for mac or can i operate the printer with only pc and sd card?

There is another slot for connecting another z motor, as you can see in the picture. You should use a Dupont:

You can download a Repetier to control your printer online:

The firmware issue may cause all the axes move in only on direction. Please leave your email address, I will send you one.
