Prusa I3A bad printing

Hi,

When I print a object it does not look good. The nozzle touches the filament during printing
I have the following configuration;
3D Printers Online Store
Order ID: 1551
Geeetech Acrylic Prusa i3 Kit
- Controller Board (Electronics): mega2560 + ramps 1.4
- Choose Printer Color: Black
- Filament Size: 1.75 mm

I'm probably doing something wrong, my prints look awful. I made a movie of printing with my Prusa i3a.

Yes,it looks very awful, Please make sure if you had set right settings as flowing:
1) RepetierHost \ config \ Printer settings \ Extruder \Diameter;
2) RepetierHost \ Slicer \ Configuration \ Filament Settings;
3) RepetierHost \ Slicer \ Configuration \ Printer Settings \ nozzle diameter;

My nozzle size is 0.3mm and my filament is 1.75
My settings:
1) RepetierHost \ config \ Printer settings \ Extruder \Diameter; = 0.3mm
2) RepetierHost \ Slicer \ Configuration \ Filament Settings; = 1.75mm
3) RepetierHost \ Slicer \ Configuration \ Printer Settings \ nozzle diameter; = 0.3mm

No, it is still the same.I have the z axis measured 10mm = 10mm. So that is good.

Could you please download a newest version of Repetier from www.repetier.com and try again?
I still think there were something wrong when you set settings. A new version may help you to escape from wrong settings.
Besides, Keep the distance between nozzle and bed lower than 1mm after homing.
Put a layer of ABS gum water before a printing job.

I have performed a new installation of repetier / slicer and Cura. Still the same problem with both. The distance is less than 1mm, adjusted with paper.
Have also tested with glue, Kapton tape and painters tape.

It continues to stir in the filament and the layers are still not equally

I have a similar problem.
I think it is the step calculation in firmware.
Geeetech should provide these settings for each kit.

Define DEFAULT_AXIS_STEPS_PER_UNIT

Ouch, that printing look awful.
At least you get to print.
Mine just sitting collecting dust. just got a few days ago on my door step. controller defective out of the box.

They should do the calculation for each kit. They only have 6 kits.
