3D Touch Deploy Pin Error

I purchased the new version of the 3D Touch sensor for the A30 Pro. After installing it and powering on the printer, the sensor does a self-test deploy and retracting the pin a couple times. When I tried auto-leveling, it drove the nozzle into the bed and scratched up the printing surface.

I have tested thoroughly and the pin stays in the stowed position. Commands from the screen or using GCODE do not deploy the pin. It just stays in the up position. I have now tried two separate sensors with the same problem. I have also tested the sensors in another printer and they work correctly.
