part cooling fan

hi all,
could i use the fans from an old x box 360 as a part cooling fan or would these be too big and heavy?
not sure on there exact size as i have took them out yet, but im sure they are going to be bigger than 40mm
im on a i3 pro w mk8 extruder

In theory, as long as their parameters are similar, it is possible

thanx william, but i took them out and it is two fans joined together so i might use it as a fan to cool the board when i get round to putting the board and wires into some sort of housing if thats possible?

they both have two wires that connect to a 3pin plug so would i just plug it into the where the board fan is now 'fan 3' on the board (gt2560 rev a)

Thank you for sharing! I pulled them out and discovered that they are two fans linked together, so when I get around to placing the board and wires into some type of enclosure, if that's feasible, I may use it as a fan to cool the board. cookie clicker
