A30M firmware, Why so hard to update

I have looked at every forum page, utube, and facebook, cant get my LCD screen to come back on. been using firmware updater program and loading (A30M_M09_V1_04-R.bin) and( (A30M_S02_V1_02-R.bin) . what is a LCD_bootloader_V3.0.hex? and motherboot_booter_V1.0.bin ????? I just want it to work, give me something simple to do please, or easy to understand.

Hello, if you did follow the video, the screen may be broken and you can replace it directly.

I followed the utube to the letter but still have a blank screen. I can see the leds on the lcd board blink intermittingly but black screen/.

My mainboard has "Smartto MB V1.0" on the back
Firmwaretoolkitv2.0
A30M_V1.01.01

LCD SD Card with
A30M_S02_V1_01.bin
system folder
config.txt (boot:1;LCD:A30M_S02_V1_01.bin;)

I ended up by a new LCD screen and installed it. It now works. Don’t ask me why, but for some reason the update messes up the LCD screen drivers and can’t get it to come back on. Tried everything……

i update to new firmware but extruder 2 is running on must higher steps then extruder 1 but how do you change that
