Grazie in anticipo a tutti.
Alessandro

Is there going to be a record made for the A10M? I would imagine that shouldnt be an issue for the engineers particularly when it is a suggested program!! I attempted the custom course as proposed in the manual yet the most recent adaptation of Cura doesn't give the FDM printer choice just the FFM, subsequently Cura doesn't appear to speak with the printer.

FFM and FDM are differents names for the same technology. Probably you don´t have the correct USB driver for your board.

Best regards.

Any news on adding the A10 file correctly to the Cura resources file? Its nice to be able to print the cat on the SD card but I would like to be able to print other designs? If this is not sorted soon I will be forced to return it to amazon for a refund.

You want to step by step?
1. Install correct drivers
2. Check it again in Windows device manager (com ports) should be USB serial ch340 (com X)
3. Install cura (prefer 4.6.2) you will get problems with shared heater on 4.7
4. Cura/configure/printers add new printer
5. Take from list other/geetech/A10 (a10m/a10t etc. Depending what A10 you got.
6. Check options shared heater and heated bed
7. Printer dimensions x220 y220 z250
8. No of extruder 1 (2 for 10m 3 for 10t)
9. Gantry height 250 (same as your z height)
10. Fields above you can fill with 0 or leave empty.
11.section extruder 1 (extruder 2/extruder3) filament diameter 1.75 (if you got m or t you can add gcode script for your extruder. My its not ready yet. Got some errors and due to i thing brocken pcb I'm cannot finish it and test it now.)
12. Start gcode - up to you (if you choose geeetech printer you will get stock gcode there)
13. End gcode - up to you
14. Save and close printer tab. Go to profiles and hit import button and import downloaded cura profile from geeetech download site (www.geeetech.com/download) and hit button activate.
15. Go to materials and klick on what you want to use. I'm usually take general pla and duplicate it. Than I can edit values. Temp 215, bed 60, fan 100, diameter 1.75
Activate it.
16. Open stl file you want to print, hit large blue button {slice} than you can save it on sd card and put on your printer and print.

17. Good luck 😊😊
18. Hope you level your bed before print😏
19.and hope you preheat your bed before level 😉
20. All the best

PS. Cura its own to Ultimaker, ant it got own repository on github.com.
Any problems with cura you should sort with cura/github.com but they prefer own printers.
If you wait another week I nearly prepared full config for geeetech A10 printers include quality profiles, materials, printers, start end gcode, as well marlin 2 ready hex files.
