GT2560 Rev B + Set up 3D Touch
I am attempting to add the 3D Touch to my Geeetech A10. My motherboard number is GT2560 Rev B and so I have the pin connector block not the individual pin holders. I am find for modifying the connector block to have more pins but unsure of the cable wiring.
I followed this guide - https://www.geeetech.com/wiki/index.ph ... ing_Sensor in terms of connecting wires to potions but I am not getting a response from the 3D touch
For the 3 pin connector I am using - 3-pin: Brown (-, GND) Red (+5V) Orange ( Z max pin control signal)
For the 2 pin I tried Ground and the Z min pin control signal
Can anyone help the wiring for this please?

Hi!
after wiring and connect, has you changed the firmware? The installed firmware isn´t without 3D Touch support. You need to download the firmware from downloads section and change the firmware.
The guide you post is for REV A+, at REV B the pins are different.
Best regards.

Hello, if you are using a gt2560VB motherboard, it is not a simple task to connect 3dtouch directly on the motherboard, and its pins do not support direct connection to 3dtouch. As you can observe according to the schematic diagram below, compared with 2560VA, there is no separate 3dtouch interface. The control signal interface is missing. Therefore, it is recommended that you directly connect 3dtouch to the interface.

Re: GT2560 Rev B + Set up 3D Touch
I have updated the firmware and have the bltouch settings on my machine so have the option to deploy or stow the tool; ALthough not currently working.
You can see the board layout in the 2nd picture here viewtopic.php?t=68345 the top 6 pins are the Z min and Z max. Looking at the pin layout printed next to this it seems the top pins are VCC the next to down I had presumed were the control pins listed as Z_MAX and Z_MIN and then the next to are GND Pins.
What do you mean by?

I don't think my printer has this. Or at least I haven't seen it. Can you shed some light on its location/ What kind of board it is?
Re: GT2560 Rev B + Set up 3D Touch
It´s located at print head (hot end)

Re: GT2560 Rev B + Set up 3D Touch
So I don't seem to have this hotend interface I have seen the extension board is this the same thing? Is there no way to install the 3D touch without it? You would think if there was a model that wasn't compatible geeetech would have called it a different model/product.
