I fried a v3.0 board & bought a replacement that isn't acting right
Re: I fried a v3.0 board & bought a replacement that isn't acting right
It is recommended that you connect the slicing software to control the printer, so that you can judge whether the motherboard is good
-Keep your mind and try to test it.

Re: I fried a v3.0 board & bought a replacement that isn't acting right
Well, Octoprint is a slicer in addition to a web interface for printer control.
I swapped in the two unfried drivers to the X & Y-axes and it made no difference. When the machine is on, the X-axis is still frozen and the Y-axis is still loose. Neither one will respond to movement commands sent from Octoprint. The LCD is still unresponsive to the knob and goes all wonky given time.
The hotend is working, the heated bed is working, and the extruder is working.
1) I already bought a new board from Geeetech, a new LCD from Geeetech, and new drivers, and I don't want to put any more money into Geeetech, especially given how long it takes anything to arrive by mail.
2) The machine wouldn't work with the 3D Touch that came with it.
3) There's no Marlin 2.0 for the board.
4) I know of no other type of board that will work in this printer.
I guess that means that the printer is junk. :^(
Thanks for all your help, William.

I think you're right: I had 3/4 in backward.
Regarding the motherboard lights, I get there lights like I stated in the OP. I'm pretty sure the board is ok.
The power supply hasn't been altered and is still set to the 110 V setting.omegle
I'm going to try the old drivers in the proper orientation and see how it goes.
Thanks again for all your help. I'm glad that you are faithful to come here and answer questions.
