I’m getting problems with layer shifting.
I already tightened the belt.
Up the volts on the driver
Lower the volts on the driver
Lower jerk and acceleration
Tried another slicer program
Not sure what else to do.

The blue ones are with low voltage.

Hi,it may be that the X-axis or Y-axis belt is loose, you can tighten it.

The voltage reference range is generally between 0.8-1.2
It may also be that the printing speed is too fast, you can appropriately reduce the printing speed.

i adjusted the voltage to 1.2 and still getting layer shifting.
i was looking at the tmc2208 you sell. it comes with heat sink.
The ones in mine right now dont have heat sink..
where they supposed to come with it ???
maybe they are getting too hot because they dont have heat sink ?

Hi, you can check filament is free,a temporary problem with the filament not unspooling cleanly (a knot or tangles on the spool) might have blocked the movement of the (direct drive) extruder causing your 3D printer shifting layers.
You’ve got mechanical friction on this axis (the X-axis in this picture). Check if your printer moves freely along this axis, clean and lubricate the mechanical parts like smooth rods, lead-screws or rails and check for broken bearings.

Did anyone ever find a solution to this problem, I am having the same issue. Also could someone advise on how they changed the voltage and acceleration settings so I can mess with that myself.

the reasons:
1. The printing speed is too fast, reduce the printing speed, and control within a reasonable range.
2. The resistance of the XY axis is too large, lubricate the XY axis (lubricating oil, rail oil, or engine oil).
3. The acceleration is too large, reduce the motor acceleration (general factory settings are generally no problem, adjusted in the screen).
4. The XY-axis timing belt is too slack, slipping and jumping teeth appear. Tension timing belt (no tooth skipping during operation)

I had the same Y-axis shifting issue. I had lowered my X and Y axis driver voltage because my Y axis driver blew out due to Geeetech not including heatsinks...thanks guys...
I adjusted the voltage back up to 1.25v once I had heatsinks and it solved the problem for me.

In order to adjust the voltage you need to adjust the screw on the driver. To measure the voltage probe the screw and the pin marked "gnd" on each chip, but be extremely careful not to short with another pin.

Yeah, my A30M is a $500 paper weight because of layer shifting. And don't reply with fixes, I've tried them all.
