Geeetech A10 - Powers on but lcd does not work
Hi
I recently got the Geetech A10 and have had a good few sucessfull prints but today i took apart the hot end to unclog it and i think it blew something. The printer powers up and i can hear the fan in running but the lcd does not power on so i cant check if it will heat up or select anything.
Really not sure what the issue is i have seen some on this forum and people asking for a picture of the motherboard lights so i have attached an image of that
Hope somebody can help i really want to get back to printing
thanks in advance for any replies
Ryan

Re: Geeetech A10 - Powers on but lcd does not work
Hey, So i have checked the voltage on the main board with a multimeter (I am a novice so not sure i've done it right) to get a consistent reading i have to set it to dcv 200 and it comes out as 24 which seems a bit off but that's what i get. Again not sure if i have done that right so bare with me
thanks Ryan

Re: Geeetech A10 - Powers on but lcd does not work
Hey,
These are the two points i tried to measure from like i said i wasn't too sure where exactly i should be measuring from. I did test the multimeter on a battery to make sure that it worked and it did give me the right reading, so at least i know that the multimeter does work
thanks Ryan

Re: Geeetech A10 - Powers on but lcd does not work
Thanks for your help
I thought that might have been the case, I have noticed some frayed wires around the hot end so i think that might have blown it. SO i think i'm going to replace that too
Thanks again Ryan
