PID Tuning A30

Post by EarthwormJack » Wed Apr 15, 2020 8:11 pm

Hey Folks,
i can see the PID values in the Smartto tool. But is there a possibility to do the PID Autotuning. I tried it with the M303 command, but that doesn`t work. And just changing the values is a bit too difficult to me due the fact I don't really know what kind of changes I should do. I need this because I have a new hotend and I have troubles with a stable temperature...

Thanks for your help!

Hi,the M303 interface may need to be optimized.
You can try it by averaging.
-Keep your mind and try to test it. :)

Hey William,
thanks for the answer, but I'm a bit confused now. In my case M303 does nothing. It didn't start any autotuning... That is my problem... Does the firmware normally react on that code?
