My LCD is giving wrong info.

Post by MinkeNike » Tue Mar 31, 2020 1:31 am

so I've had my geeetech a10 for about 3 months, and everything has been working fine untill I turned it on this morning, and now the LCD screen is saying my printer bed is 102 degrees when its colder then room temp. And the bottom half of the LCD screen is blurry, and I can't move the steppers at all, I can't even disable them.

I have no clue why this is happening plz help.

Hi, You can remove the hot end and hot bed wiring on the motherboard,
Check the temperature display on the screen.
If -14 is displayed, measure the thermistors on the hot end and the hot bed.
If the high temperature is still displayed, the motherboard is damaged.

If the screen is distorted, you can replug the screen cable or press the reset button at the bottom of the screen.
Check that signal interference may affect screen conditions.
-Keep your mind and try to test it. :)

Ok so I unplugged the Hot bed and Hot end and the displayed temp didn't change at all.
So this means that I need to replace the mother board?!? if so I will, but is there any other way to fix it?

Hi, If you unplug the hot bed and hot end wiring on the motherboard
If the temperature does not change,
The motherboard is damaged.
You may need to replace it.
