Hi,
I bought an A30 one Year ago. I didn´t print a lot. I lost my interest because of all these errors…
First the leveling just did not work, after a Firmware update I was not able to install the NPN sensor.
I watched all the Videos on YouTube tried 2mm - 8mm distance to the heatbed. I got the issue that the red light lights up, but the Printer just crashes into the heatbed… Today a half year later I tried it again an the Printer started to autolevel before printing but in the middle he crashed again. After a factory reset he again does detect the heatbed (red light) but just do not stop.
I really have no clue why and I would love to destroy this printer because I have not more Patience....
I hope some of you can help me.
Greetings
A30 NPN sensor failure
Re: A30 NPN sensor failure
Hi, you can adjust its top,
Calibrate it,
You can refer to: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_7XE--p6lSQ
Does the printer work if the auto-leveling system is turned off?

Re: A30 NPN sensor failure
Hi,
I did it exactly the same way. The red light flashed, but he did not start moving up again. He directly crashed into the bed with the red light on.
It prints quit okay without the sensor.
I have got the A30 with the sensor mount at the side of the print head. Moreover I've got a 3d Touch and an NPN sensor. So would should I try now?
Thanks for your reply. Sorry that i did not answer. I thought I would get an email if someone replies.

Hi, You can refer to the settings and installation of npn: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nsWYTnQzaI4
Whether to remove the limit switch of the z-axis,
If this still occurs after removal,
There may be a problem with the npn sensor.

Re: A30 NPN sensor failure
Hi,
I also tried this video several times. Moreover the sensor manual said to use an offset of 5mm. This did not work either. So is there a possibility to use the 3D touch sensor an the A30 version with the fan at the front and the sensor mount at the side auf the hotend?
Thanks
