no Communication

it only works thru LCD screen and chip. win10 com ports don't see it. firmware must work, prints thru chip. port monitor says the g-code goes out but
it looks like the printer sends back garbage. i've flashed with arduino and the firmware tool kit i3proB_v1.0.05.hex, both finish with no error.
repetier host says it's connected but "printer info" is blank. the amber com light flashes when usb is plugged in and when repetier connects and disconnects, that's all. the LCD always "ready" even though repetier says connected....? help, i give up

Hi,whether you can control the printer through the Repetier Host, or you can try to change the port for connection.

it's the same port that loads marlin.ino or I3proB_V1.0.05.hex with no errors. it's also the only usb2 port i have.
tried several slicers with the same results

Hi,You can try restarting the computer and checking again. If the problem persists, there may be a problem with the communication port on the motherboard.
