Hotbed does not heat anymore (no power)

Post by Liizok8u » Wed Jan 22, 2020 2:58 am

Hey,

from one print to another, my heatbed does not heat anymore. :/ I messured the voltage at the powercord and there is no 24v coming in. I opened up the printer and found this heatbed board. It has 24v coming in from the power supply (working) and it recieves 24v from the mainboard, when I set the bed temperature (also working). The red LED turns on. When I heat the bed with a fan, the temperature sensor reports a higher temperature, so everything seems fine here as well.

But there is no outgoing 24v to the bed. Any ideas?

:D Hi, Are you referring to the fact that the heated bed itself cannot be heated?
You can check the temperature indicator by unplugging the hot-bed wire from the motherboard.
If -14 is displayed, measure the thermistor on the hot bed.
-Keep your mind and try to test it. :)

It does say -14. How would I measure the thermistor?

Hi,you can measure the thermistor of the hot bed, generally about 80kΩ at 25 °
