Since transparent PLA's natural colour is Geeetech's filament good safe?
I have a stainless steel nozzle etc to make the printer itself food safe.

Re: PLA Filament
I don't believe any PLA passes the FDA, but it does in the EU.
PLASTIC=BAD
As silly as I may find it, to be food grade, you need a product who claims to be food grade. Personally I have no problem licking anything I print, aside from it being weird. To meet FDA standards, I pretty much need to be able to chew, swallow and pass it thought to the other side without a problem, which based on those standards, I'd give a thumbs down to PLA. Plastics like PETG and nylon are more to the FDA's liking.
"food grade" is a legal term, where the law is the law. You may find that you need to also wear a hair net while printing food grade. The rules for printing food grade are pretty much the same as it is for a cooking in a kitchen in a restaurant.
