Push connector(?) issue?

Post by ArnIIe » Tue Feb 18, 2020 12:11 am

Hi,

I have a Geeetech A10 and I had a jam in the teflon/PFTE tube, I replaced the tube with spare the one that came with the printer, but the tube keeps popping out of the connector (near where the filament is fed in).

Without much pulling the tube just pops out of the connector (is it called a push connector?). No matter how I try to fix the tube into the connector it won't stay, I can only presume it is broken. The other connector has a black top and teeth and works and the tube doesn't move when inserted.

Can you help me, what is it called, and where can I get a replacement? Or is there a way to stop the tubing from popping out of it?

Hi William,

I am not sure what that is!

I did manage to get sorted by ordering these https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07 ... UTF8&psc=1

I am printing again which is great, I am slightly worried, I have some burning and build up above the nozzle, when you change the PFTE tube how do you know how far to push it into the print head?

Sorry complete N00b here!

Hi,you can insert your consumables into the Teflon tube and push out the residue.
