GT2560 v3.1 for A10?

Post by skirbysmall » Tue Nov 26, 2019 2:06 pm

Hello.

I see there is a v3.1 of the GT2560 for A10, but the product page looks exactly the same as the v3.0 (except the price ;) ) So what exactly is the difference? Can I use it to replace my v3.0?

Hi, correspondence is different, you need the motherboard corresponding to your machine model.

But both the v3.0 and 3.1 are listed as for the A10, are there different models of A10? If so, what changed between them that makes the boards incompatible?

Hi, different models of the machine make it impossible to connect some parts.
If you need to buy a motherboard, you need to compare it with your model and your motherboard type.

Hola.

Hi.
First, I introduce myself, as this is my first post.
Less than 15 days ago I have my first 3d printer, Geeetech A10M. And, because of me, I have already had to read many messages from this forum and many web pages about arduino and GT2560. : geek:: geek:
I take this opportunity to thank the selfless efforts of those who have contributed, without knowing it, to solving my problem.

In case it works, my printer has a GT2560 v3.1 and, I am sure it is not exactly the same as that of the A10.
Look at the picture.

I've got the same A10m printer and because of the frustrating issues I've had with the stock hotend I'm upgrading to a chimera double. Are there pinout layouts/specs for the GT2560 v3.1 board so I can figure how to connect the second hot block?
