Good evening,
I recently realized that I had one of my filament feed motors on the wrong side of my rails on the top, so i disassembled it and reinstalled on the correct side. This involved removing the filament as well as the cables connecting the stepper motor as well as the filament runout sensor. After plugging everything back in, I've started to run into problems.
It appears as tho the machine is getting a bad signal or error from the sensor. The print will stop, sometimes after the first layer, sometimes in the middle, sometimes 3 or 4 times in a row after I hit resume. There is no consistency to the problem and it happens completely randomly. I've also seen one time the machine's LCD display flicker 2-3 times per second about 'out of filament' (or something of the nature. The message goes away, but the print is still paused).
I've tried reseating all of the cables as well as tried using multiple different lines in my start code using Simplify3D to disable the sensor, but nothing has worked. The three that I've tried are:
M412 S0
M406
M117
I've had the machine for almost a year now and it's performance is amazing. This problem only started after reconfiguring the filament stepper motor. I don't use the machine for huge prints or production, so if its easiest, I would like to simply disable the sensor all together.
Thank you for your help in advance!

Hi, If you want to turn it off,
You can find it on the screen: control -Filament -Run out sensors to turn it off.

Easiest solution ever THANK YOU! I had no idea that was in there.
Just shut it off and started a print. I'll let ya know if this does the trick.
