Factory reset

Post by Ron46 » Fri Dec 13, 2019 4:30 am

Hi, I have tried to reset my printer to factory settings using the recommended method of pressing reset button then large button but it does not work. The lcd reverts back to the main screen. Is there another way to do it that works?

Hi, x and y do not home when needed to but z does. The nozzle temp appears to be correct on the lcd but it prints as though the temp is too low with stringy prints that won't stick to the bed. When the filament purges I see smoke come out with it for a second or two. After a while printing using white filament parts of the print are light brown as though the filament is burning. I suspect it could be caused by a bad power supply unit also. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi,If you mean your X / y doesn't move properly,

You can try to exchange the z-axis motor line with the X / Y-axis motor line to confirm whether the motor line is broken,

If the printing model does not stick to the hot bed, the hot bed can be re leveled;

You can also clean the nozzle before printing.

I have a problem with my D200 printer. The nozzle is stucked and the temperature is -17 C.
According to the forum, I have to replace the nozzle.
Could you please help/guide how to replace the nozzle?

Hi, You can look at the bottom of the hot end, there is a switch near the nozzle,
Just move it and remove the nozzle for replacement.
