Post by bauchetfranck62@gmail.com » Sun Dec 08, 2019 10:33 pm

Hello,

I've check all steppers, and the end of curse switch. So my machine works, I set the stop of the z-axis. I place the extruder at the point to do home setting. Done.

I tried to print a file with easyprint 3d. Well the the bed and the extruder being hot. the extruder move to the x axis end. A loud noise with the x belt during one or 2 seconds. the steppers stops.

the extruder goes to x and y home point and after, the x axis move up , the extruder is about 15mm up the bed, and the print start in the air.

what can i do , which paramater to set up to enable these 15mm in the z axis

thank you for yours advices

Hi, You can check if your printer can run Auto Home normally
Then check the tightness of the belt and adjust it;
Then check if your motor can run normally,
If it is not possible, exchange other motor wires that can work normally, and determine if it is caused by a broken motor wire
Printing in the air may be caused by a problem with your gcode, you can try re-slicing and printing.
If the problem still exists, you can provide specific videos so that we can better solve.

thank for your response

it's done for the stepper homing,

but for the gcode, the printer start always 15 mm in the air.

I use the version 1.0.19 for easy print becaus the 1.2.6 version doesn't work when I demand to slice and the program stop

for the 1.0.19 version, I've tried to reslice the stf file. but the printer always starts 15 mm under the bed.

What can i do to resolve this problem

Hi, Whether you print the same model;
If yes, it is the version of the slicing software
