Re: About how to connect the 3d touch
Thanks for the pictures on how to connect. I connected my sensor how you show it; however, it does not home properly. Also I do not see the BLTouch Self-Test option they use in the YouTube video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_RtsZDbR2po&t=66s Do I need to update the firmware? If so I could only find the A10M firmware. How can I modify that to work, or where can I find the A10T firmware?

Hi, If you install 3d touch, you need to update the firmware to that with 3d touch.
You can download it here: https://www.geeetech.com/download.html?download_id=49

Re: About how to connect the 3d touch
I try to get the Sensor working on a A10T.
I stuck with the Firmware I think.
I pushed the .hex-File by using the Firmware-Tool. Everything seems all right (erasing Firmware, uploading Firmware).
At the end there is nothing different (e.g. the "test"-option for the sensor in the menu is still not there.)
As soon as I connect the Black and white connector of the sensor the Z-Axis endswitch lights constantly red - so it is not possible to move the z-axis down anymore.
Am I missing something? I would love to have the sensor working

Re: About how to connect the 3d touch
Uh. No, I didn't disconnect the endstop.
Maybe that will do the trick. I test it in the evening.
I used the Firmware from here: https://www.geeetech.com/download.html?version_id=218
And as I stated: Update seems all right (after all I can see on the screen).
Do I have to clear the EEPROM in one stage during getting a new Firmware on the machine?

Can you please comment if that was resolved? I am facing a similar problem and can't recover.Jonni wrote: ↑Wed Feb 26, 2020 7:31 pmUh. No, I didn't disconnect the endstop.

Resolved: About how to connect the 3d touch
I have a A10T with the GT2650v4 board. I updated my firmware with the 3DTouch file provided by Geeetech, watched their video, studied multiple posts, and am still at a loss
As soon as I plug my new 3DTouch device in, it turns off the text on my LED panel and it overheats! The outer casing is partially melted so I ordered a replacement part just in case.

I received the replacement part (3DTouch) all is well

Re: About how to connect the 3d touch
Hello,
New A10T owner (sept. 2020) I installed a BLtouch this week. Printer was manually leveled and printed dog and vase just fine. After installing BLtouch, and downloaded firmware from this site. The probe was set to about 3mm above head and following the online youtube video, you store settings, the click the autohome setting. When i do that, the had will go to the middle and crash right into the platform. Instead of the probe clicking and moving the head up, it just keeps trying to go lower and i hear the motors trying to go beyond and at this point, i just turn off the printer so it doesn't burn out the motors. The wiring is correct, black above white, purple above orange. Have no clue except to reflash back to not use the bltouch. Any ideas? Oh i tried searching forums for this but i didn't see anything relevant. If there are posts please just send me the link to those.
thanks!
Mark
