new motherboard question
i own a new A20M and i had to replace the motherboard do i need to download or upgrade this board before printing??? should it not come with software???
Re: new motherboard question
Hi, If you replace the motherboard, there is already the corresponding firmware on the motherboard.
Is the software you are referring to as slicing software?
If it is a slicing software, you can download it on your computer, you can use Repetier Host or Cura.

Re: new motherboard question
Hi, I am not very clear what you are referring to,
the firmware is already on the motherboard.
What software are you referring to?
You can describe it in detail.

Re: new motherboard question
The same board is used on different model of Geeetech printer.
So how the seller Will sent you the board for your printer model? Unless the seller told you and warranty you that they did the FW for your printer.
Otherwise, I would just flashbthwbFW with the right configuration for THE printer model you have.

Re: new motherboard question
Hi, If you open the motherboard after installing it on the printer,
The screen does not display the A20M.
You can download it at this URL: viewtopic.php?f=20&t=17046

Re: new motherboard question
Hi, you can try to swap the motor wires for inspection to determine if the motor wires are broken and this happens.
If there is no problem with the motor cable,
you can try to swap the position of the motor cable on the motherboard to confirm if there is a problem with the motor wiring slot on the motherboard.
