hi,
i buy a new i3 proW.
i built it and i find the firmware in this forum.
i have a problem with the print, i make a good first layer but for the second the Z axis is too high and the filament does not stick with the firts layer.
i notice that in the page with the firmware there is this note:
"Check the threaded rod of your printer(Especially I3 PRO X, I3 PRO W, I3 PRO B, I3 PRO C)
If your printer working with T8 threaded rod
You need to send Gcode"M92 Z400" via USB port.(When you upload the firmware finished)
Then you need to send Gcode"M500" to save the setting."
my printer has the T8 threaded rod, should I put M92 Z400 into Gcode when i make the slicing?
Thanks

Re: calibration i3 ProW
Hi, Have you tried printing the test files included with the sd card?
Is the printing effect the same?
If you print it yourself and slice it, you can check it out.
Set your slice settings to see if the printed layer height is set too high.
If you still have problems, you can try entering the G92 command and saving it.
View the effect.

Re: calibration i3 ProW
Hi, i don't receive the SD card.
However i try gCode M92 z400 and now the printer work very well!
I have another problem.
When i built the printer i put LCD wire into Sd slot and viceversa.
After that , when i connect the SD wire to sd slot the printer crash and nothing work.
I think that i broke something into breadboard, is there an hardware or software solution?
Thanks

Hi,regarding sd, you can contact your sales to reissue the sd card.
Are you referring to the printer not working after the sd line is connected?
Is the printer now able to connect to the computer via USB?
If possible, the motherboard should be normal and the screen and sd card cable may need to be replaced.
I hope this can help you.
