Problems with Prusa i3 Pro W

Post by gcrichards » Thu Sep 12, 2019 8:32 am

Hi,
I'm having a terrible time trying to get my Prusa i3 Pro W working. Everything assembled fine and on first time startup managed to get as far as levelling the bed but then I updated the firmware and it hasnt worked ever since. I can connect to the com port but nothing else works, motors dont move and extruder & bed dont work via PC. I tried printing from SD card and the bed heats up but thats it. Tried changing firmware, baudrates, software (Easyprint 3d and repetier host) even changed USB cables......nothing.
Would appreciate any advice, FYI im a total noob at this.

Hi, Are you using Arduino version 1.0.1?
Update the firmware here: http://www.geeetech.com/forum/viewtopic ... 20&t=17046

Hi, If your computer can't connect to the port properly,
You need to refer to this, manually install the serial port.

you can refer to this:https://www.geeetech.com/forum/viewtopi ... RlcFtWdCG4
and the download address: https://www.geeetech.com/download.html?download_id=40

You can try to refresh the firmware again. refer to this: http://www.geeetech.com/forum/viewtopic ... 20&t=17181

Or use cura to directly print the HEX format firmware of the official website

not sure if I can do a video, but it just seems as though the extruder and motors have no power or something. Could it be the board?
