Solved: Connecting capacitive sensor to a10 gt2560 v3

Post by Simons » Tue Sep 10, 2019 3:03 am

Hi everyone,

i have a Problem on my A10 (gt2560 v3) installing an capative Sensor to level the bed.

since the a10 hotend board has an connection for it. it seemed easy "plug and play", but i strugle to make it work.

Firmware is updated to the sensor, but I am doing this for the first time. (https://www.dropbox.com/s/oyneab7en8ai3 ... ion.h?dl=0 )

The main Problem is, the Printer doesnt recognize the signal from the probe to stop the z-axis.

Even by testing with M119 the z-axis isnt "triggert" when i put a finger near the sensor.

Does anyone have an Idea?
Did I Connectet the Sensor wrong?

Edit: even with an optocoupler i didnt find any propper connection on the hotend board.
Finaly i connected it directly with the the z-axis.

p.s. the Voltage at the probe is around 8 V without any detection and 18 with obstical detected. I dont know if this is normal.

Hi, From your firmware point of view, there is a problem with the offset of your extruder,
you can try to download it here: http://www.geeetech.com/forum/viewtopic ... 20&t=17046
The firmware is updated with the Arduino version 1.8.5.
I hope this can help you.

OH, This is a summary of Marlin firmware.
Of course, you can also download the compiled HEX format firmware on the official website.
