G2s error - no thermistor reading

Post by DavideC » Sat Aug 10, 2019 10:27 pm

Hello everyone,
I'm totally inexperienced with 3D printers and I'm having issues with my G2s.
I've assembled it and triple-checked the wiring, but when I power it up, I get the reading you can see in the attached picture. From what I understand, it means that the board receives no thermistor readings. All thermistors except the heat bed's one are connected (it was faulty and I am waiting for the replacement part to arrive).
Any idea of the cause, or how I could tackle the problem?
If the exact same issue has been solved in another thread, just redirect me to it.
Thank you

Hi, When you unplug the hotbed and printhead from the motherboard, what is the display on the screen?

If you still see the picture you provided, maybe you need to check your hotbed and print head.

Yes, disconnecting all or some of the printhead and hotbed connections has no effect on the readings.
Could all of the thermistors be faulty?

Hi, If your printer is Delta G2/G2S series,
before checking this please install the firmware for I3X or I3 pro-C,
cause when you short out the thermistors with the firmware of G2/G2S,
it will always show 0 degrees on the LCD, though it is exactly MAX temp error.

and you can also refer to this :http://www.geeetech.com/forum/viewtopic ... 23&t=17030
