Hi,
as I installed a 3D Touch I found that the sensor nearly never
leveled the bed correctly. I then disassembled it and found that
it was shifting not exactly (it often sticked) enough to the inside.
So I disassembled the aluminium rod from the inside
magnet and reassembled it using a new piece of heat shrinking tube.
Now the 3D touch works well in switching (no more
sticking) but its still nearly impossible to get a
good stable leveling. Sometimes it levels ok, sometimes not.
It seems to do what it randomly wants to do.
Now I heard that this is a bug of the 1.1.8 firmware.
I also heard that there is another version 1.1.9 having this bug fixed
but cannot find any download of the .hex file.
I'm not familar with Arduino so compiling is not my thing.
Could somebody please help and/or give some more
informations how to fix that problems?
Thank you very much
regards
Peter

Hi, You can remove the 3d touch probe and re-magnetic ring.
Then calibrate it
