printing stress test on the A30 with PETG
printing stress test on the A30 with PETG
Today I tried the surprise egg #1 which is a good printer stress test.

After a few tries, I was able to print the Truck successfully and fully working with PETG on the Geeetech A30 at 0.1 mm.
PETG is not that easy to work with, so this makes me quite happy

Re: printing stress test on the A30 with PETG
No, I found them on thigyverse.
There are a bunch of those surprise eggs made all from one guy.
These are meant to test your printer and bring the printer to its limits.
The wheels and the back of the Truck need to be moveable after the print.
The Truck is printed in one piece. The egg is seperate but the truck needs to fit into it.
Also the egg shell can be opened and closed after printing. It is one part model aswell.
The eggs can be found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/agepbiz/designs
Right now I try and test the A30 as good as possible to get the best results with PETG.
I also plan to do some videos around the A30. It is a quite good printer for the price.

Re: printing stress test on the A30 with PETG
I've ran PLA and ABS plenty and due to my fav PLA not being available I got some PETG. It's not so friendly. Would you be willing to share your slicer settings?
Re: printing stress test on the A30 with PETG
According to arknights english site, Any softening plastic will radiate hurtful exhaust or some likeness thereof. PETG is more secure than ABS, however in the event that you print a great deal with it you should think of a ventilation framework to limit your openness. That can make ABS more alluring as a material, since you'll be set. PLA is the most secure 3D printing material that I've known about - for the most part said to put particulate matter noticeable all around instead of genuine exhaust.
