Hi All,
Is anybody able to tell me what to do with the slic3r software? It generates tiny gaps which are visible in the print. The top surface should be solid. It helps when I change nozzle size, but of course I do not want to do it. Picture attached.

Hi,
I think it's called a z scar. You can only minimize but can't eliminate it really unless you can tune your printer well enough (and if it's good enough). Might help to increase the retraction distance, add a tiny bit to extra filament on restart. And slow down the print overall. There is also the z change location aligned nearest and random options where the first two are pretty similar but work in different ways, and the random is random.
