Geeetech A10 M stops ramdomly

Post by Javmac » Fri Jun 21, 2019 12:54 am

Hello, I have a new A10 M for a week and I was happy with the printer work, but now it has an odd behavor, it stops ramdonly meanwhile printing. It´s like I press "pause print", in fact if I press "resume print" it continues printing without any problem but it´s very annoying because it can happen two or three times during a printing. Can anyone help me with this?

Thanks in advance.

I´m printing via sd card and I´ve printed the dog included at once, so I think perhaps it can be a problem of the slicer (cura 4.1)

Are you sure it is a 'random' pause ?
I have annoying pauses as well using cura4.1 but it happens when printing dual color model, when the gcode change the current extruder.
I did not find a solution yet, I think that cura 3.6 was not doing this but pretty unsure now.

Did not use Cura, but Slic3r.org and try my profile. For ABS only, but you could easy change temps for PLA.
A10M Slic3r profile: here and fresh on github (lot of tips here)
A10 Slic3r profile: here
TIP: tight all screws and wheels (except right side of Z axis) and re-align frame while assembly. And silence it.
