3d touch

hi I've just install the 3d touch and every thing seemed ok. Until noticed went i press auto home the x axis is not in the centre of the bed. so when i level the bed the 3d touch moves around the bed as it should but when it gets to the right hand side you can hear the stepper motor clicking
any clues what is wrong
