Print won't stop if filament run out

Post by B4DschK4Pp » Fri Dec 25, 2020 6:24 pm

Hi all,

I newly installed my filament run out sensor to my A10 and activated it in the menu.
Before that I flashed the official Marlin 1.1.8 from the GitHub repo with the line of
"//#define FILAMENT_RUNOUT_SENSOR" changed to
"#define FILAMENT_RUNOUT_SENSOR".
So now when the filament runs out, the printer display shows me the "ERR: No filament" message, but won't pause printing, which I actually expected.
What am I missing here??? Do I need to tweak more lines in the firmware? Or do I need to add Gcode?

I am using Octoprint btw.

Any help appreciated! I'm completely stuck here...
Regards

So I ended up wiring the sensor to my raspberry pi directly and configured it with Octoprint Enclosure Plugin.

Cheers
