Hello looks like marlin does not support gt 2560 v4 board.
Will the marlin firmware compiled with board v3 work as well? What are differences between the two boards?
Is the board v4 support planned? If so... When?
Paolo
PS: dear geeetech... One of the reason I end up in buying your printer is because the board gt2560 was advertised as open-source... Please make it so adding this v4 board to marlin.
Open source means source available and non only hex firmware.
Firmware for geeetech a10 pro (aka gt2560 v4)
Re: Firmware for geeetech a10 pro (aka gt2560 v4)
Hi! You can use fw for v3, i've been using marlin 2.0 for my gt2560v4 compiled for v3. There is also comment in the source code (pinout of v3) that pinout if v4 is the same)
Good luck

Thanks.
In any case they should provide documentation about their component

Yes, but i think that geeetech had outsourced the fw development, that got the binary file, have not payed to developer, so there is no source code like they can't provide pinout of v4 gt2560, but there passed about one year after it was brought on the market
And all commercial of geeetech says about opensource
You should find vertabreaks repository on github (he posted link to it on this forum), he has made great job - practicality all settings are accumulated in StartHere.h header!
