Sculpture printing with Geeetech A10

Post by pratyekmeal6 » Tue Aug 04, 2020 9:39 am

Hello!

I'm a 3d modeler (zbrush, blender, autodesk,etc..) and I just got a Geeetech 10A for my birthday. I was wondering if you could help me with some questions:

First of all, set up. I'm really out of 3d printing and my main question is which material should I use for best results, as well as which parameters should I focus on. Secondly, I was wondering if there are specific modifications for the geeetech focusing on sculpture.

My main idea is to paint them after printing (kinda Warhammer ways), but again, i don't really know the optimal usage of paint and/or if paint chemicals will mess up the printing material.

I'm aware that i may won't get excellent results, but I really wanna try to take it to the limits and see what it can do.

Thank you!10.0.0.0.1 192.168.1.254 happymod

Hello, just use PLA filaments. Regarding the parameter setting, you can find the corresponding video on youtube. Like this

You can also apply paint and some other things on the model with confidence.Have fun and belated birthday wishes: Happy birthday to you :D .
